A Love Never Fading: Chapter 4

based on some characters
and situations originated by James Cameron

There she was, his beautiful Rose. He hadn't seen her in almost a day. To him that felt like an eternity. From where Jack was it looked like she was floating. Jack closed his eyes for a moment and thought of all the times he had spent with Rose. He slowly walked up behind her and with each step he took the love he had for her grew stronger and stronger. Jack wrapped his arms around Roses waist like a warm blanket. And then began to sing softly into her ear. "Come Josephine in my flying machine, going up she goes, up she goes....."

Rose gazed up at the stars. Gently she closed her eyes and let the wind wash over her. Visions of the past danced in her head. Suddenly Rose felt a warmth throughout her entire body. And she heard her and Jacks song being sung by a familiar voice.

She stopped breathing as she opened her eyes and turned around. And for the first time since she had been rescued she spoke. "Jack?" Roses eyes were welling up with tears. "I......I thought your were dead."

Jack could barely hear her. "Oh Rose." He pulled her into his arms and held her so tightly that he never wanted to let go. "Shuuu don't cry my sweet Rose. I'm alive, I'm alive." He spoke those words to her as he gently stroked her hair.

Jack paused he knew there was something he had to tell Rose. He had wanted to tell her so many times before "I love you. I love you more then you could ever know. I'm sorry I didn't tell you before." By now they were both crying. Rose's head was buried in Jack's chest. Jack rested his head right on Rose's which allowed her soft hair and skin to caress his face. "You're everything to me. And I don't care what anyone's says. I'll love you forever. It wouldn't matter if you were the richest or poorest person in the world. I'll never ever let anything bad happen to you. I'll always be hear for you. You're safe with me. I have never loved anyone as much as I love you and I never will. From now on well be together always." Jack reluctantly let go of her. He back up. "Starting now." Jack dropped to his knee and clasped Roses delicate hand. He gazed lovingly into her eyes. In a low voice he simply said "Marry Me."

"Yes," Rose smiled and said it again and again. Jack jumped up grabbed Rose and spun her around and around. Then he put her down and looked deeply into her soul. He remembered the first time he looked into her eyes. They were so sad at that point. But now they were glowing and that's how he always wanted then to be. Rose could barely contain herself. She leaned in to kiss him. As did he. And they stayed there for a long while and just kissed with an indescribable passion. Rose was back, safe in the stars where she always wanted to be, with Jack.
