- If mailing to an address outside of the United States from within the United States, obtain International Reply Coupons from the post office and enclose with the envelope. These can be exchange in the other country for equivalent return postage.
- If mailing to an address in the United States from a country outside of the United States, obtain International Reply Coupons and enclose with the envelope. These can be exchanged in the United States for equivalent return postage.
- If mailing to an address in your own country, place enough return postage on the envelope itself.
- If you're writing to another country the best way to get a reply is to send at least 3 international reply coupons, which you can buy at the post office, and an 8x10" envelope addressed to yourself.
- Write a brief letter expressing your appreciation of their work and kindly requesting an autograph.
