1900 - 1st class survivor Lucy Noël Martha, Countess of Rothes married Norman Evelyn Leslie (19th Earl of Rothes), who was not on the Titanic, in Kensington, London, England, UK.

1914 - 1st class survivor Mr Charles Emil Henry Stengel died of pneumonia in Newark, New Jersey, USA at the age of 56.

1884 - 2nd class passenger Mr Erik Gustaf Collander was born to Dr Paul Collander and his wife in Helsinki, Finland.

1954 - 3rd class survivor Mr Theodoor De Mulder died at the age of 72.

1912 - The American inquiry into the Titanic disaster opened in the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel, New York, New York, USA and would last until May 25th, 1912. Witnesses called that day: Managing Director of the White Star Line and First Class Passenger J. Bruce Ismay, Captain of the Carpathia Arthur Henry Rostron, Chairman of the British Marconi Company Guglielmo Marconi, Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller, Marconi Operator for the Carpathia Harold Thomas Cottam, and Bedroom Steward Alfred Crawford.
