based on some characters
and situations originated by James Cameron

Jack and Rose kissed for about a half hour before Rose made an important decision."Jack, I need to discuss something with you that's very important."

"All right Rose. Come sit on the couch and tell me all about."

Rose situated herself in a comfortable position next to Jack. "OK, I know Brian and Maggie said we don't owe them anything but I think there is something we owe them." Rose looked deep into Jacks soul. It was amazing how they could communicate just by their eyes. Jack knew exactly what Rose was trying to say and he completely agreed.

Meanwhile downstairs in the kitchen Maggie started to warm some water for tea."I think they are charming," she said as she got down four mugs.

"They are wonderful." Brian agreed with his wife. Maggie sat down across from her husband. "I hope we get to learn more about them. It just seems like there is so much there that we are missing."

Brian and Maggie continued their discussion when suddenly Rose and Jack appeared at the kitchen door. Maggie looked up startled. "Rose, Jack I was just going to come up and offer you some tea." Maggie smiled as she began to poor some tea into the mugs. She walked over to Jack and Rose and they gratefully excepted the gift.

"Thank you." Rose took a deep breath. Jack decided to let her do the talking. "Maggie, Brian we have something we would like to discuss with you."

Brian looked up from his tea cup. "What there isn't a problem with the room already is there?"

For some reason that made Rose feel a bit more at ease. "No the room is perfect. Look we know you said that we don't owe you anything, but we do owe you an explanation."

"What on earth could you have to explain?" Maggie had a feeling she was about to hear something very important.

Brian had the same feeling and thought that the family room would be a much better place to have their conversation. Brian spoke up. "Before you continue, I think we should move to a more comfortable area."

Everyone agreed and within minutes everyone was situated comfortably in the room. Maggie and Brian sat in separate arm chairs. While Rose and Jack sat with their arms intertwined on the couch.

There was a moment of silence before Rose began. She spoke of how her father had passed away leaving her and her mother with nothing. The engagement to Cal. All of this lead up to what Jack and Rose felt to be the most important. TITANIC. They both spoke about this experience together. Each told of how they felt. Jack talked about how he felt when Rose had rejected him at first. He looked back fondly on the intimate moments they had. Rose painfully reminisced about moments like when she had jumped back onto the ship to be with Jack. The whole room was brought to tears when she spoke of the period of time she had spent without Jack. From the time she let go of his hand and watched him drift away into the sea to their reunion on the CARPATHIA had been nothing but torture for her. They left no detail untouched. They wanted Brian and Maggie to know about all of it.

They winded down their conversation with talks of they next few days. "You will probably reading a lot about me in the paper for a while. But I want you to remember what ever you read is all true. Rose DeWitt Bukater is dead the person you know and will always know is Rose Dawson."

"I can't believe you two haven't even known each other a week. I thought you had been together for a lifetime." Maggie stated as she dabbed away her tears.

"I'm sorry if we have upset you, but we just thought that you should know about us before you read anything in the paper." Rose felt wonderful getting that story off her chest.

"No, we are glad you told us. I feel tremendously honored to know about you two and what you have been through." Brian couldn't believe the story he had just heard. It was amazing they were so much in love, it was very apparent by the way they looked into each others eyes. They were meant for each other in every way shape and form.

The new roommates talked for a little while longer before deciding to go to sleep. They said their good nights to one another and went their separate ways.

Jack and Rose headed up stairs. They were so tired that they nearly fell into bed. They removed their cloths and ended up sleeping in their undergarments. When Rose climbed into bed Jack pulled her close to him. Hearing her describe how important he was to her and how terrible she had felt when she thought he was dead had touched him in an indescribable way. Jack cradled Rose back and forth, like she was a baby. He waited for her to fall asleep. She looked so wonderfully peaceful that he felt like he could watch her forever. Unwillingly he drifted off into his own dream. While he slept his mind saw nothing but Rose, it was then he realized that he would be watching Rose forever. No matter where she was or what she was doing. He would be there.
