Rose's eyes slowly opened. She focused on the little clock that sat on the nightstand next to the bed. "Oh my, it's past 11," she said to herself.

"Don't worry. We needed the rest."

Rose turned over and saw Jack smiling at her. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" she asked.

"No. I think we woke up at the same time."

Rose smiled warmly. "Good."

At the same time they leaned in and kissed one another. Jack laid Rose's head down on his chest. They stayed like that for a few minutes. She listened to his gentle heartbeat. Finally he broke the silence. "We should get up." Rose sighed.

"I know."

She looked up at him. "I'm going to take a shower."

Jack smiled. "Good idea."

Rose climbed out of bed and walked across the hall to their little bathroom. She stepped into the shower. Quietly Jack slipped in behind her.

Brian sat at the kitchen table, spread out in front of him was a newspaper drenched with stories of the sinking. One in particular section held his intrust.

Heir to multimillion dollar fortune losses fiancee

One of the saddest occurrences during the final hours of the glorious ship is that of the loss of Miss Rose DeWitt Bukater. In two weeks time Ms. Bukater was set to marry Caledon Hockley, son of Nathan Hockley, prominent member of Philadelphia society. Owner of Hockley Steel Works. "the pain of her death will never be lifted." Said Hockley. This is an unusual incident considering nearly all of the women traveling in first class were saved. "She was in a lifeboat, but she jumped back onto the ship." Say witnesses. Being that women and children were the only ones allowed on the lifeboats, Hockley was not able to get in a boat with Rose. "She was visibly heartbroken, staring up at that man with tears in her eyes. Then before you knew it she jumped back on board." Stated a bystander. According to Hockley he ran to find her but she was nowhere.

The reporter went on to add his own opinion on the situation.

The whole thing is all to upsetting. The love that these two shared was obviously strong. Mr. Hockley will now have to move on without his beloved Rose, as will her mother who was to shaken to comment. As of today Rose DeWitt Bukaters body has not been found.

Brian shook his head. He couldn't help but laugh a little at how wrong the article had been.

Jack & Rose stepped out of the shower. As she wrapped herself within the towel Rose stated. "I'm dreading having to get back in that dress."

Jack smiled mischievously. "Why get back into it at all?"

Roses jaw dropped. "Jack Dawson how could you think such a thing?"

He pulled her close. "Simple. But I won't get into details."

Before she could reply Jack pressed his lips firmly against hers.

When their kiss was finally over Rose stared at Jack. "Seriously. We have a lot to do and I think now would be a good time to start."

He nodded his head. "You're right. Let me get one more kiss though."

She smiled and kissed him passionately.

Finally they got dressed. "You know maybe we could sell that." Rose pointed to the big black coat crumpled in the corner of their bedroom. She stood up and walked over to it. "I mean it's a nice thick coat." Sticking her hands into the pockets Rose expected to pull out The Heart of the Ocean. Instead she found something a bit more amazing.

"Oh my God Jack, look at this."

Jack walked over and was shocked when he saw a pile of bills in Roses hand. "That was all in the pocket?" he asked.

Rose pulled the necklace out of the pocket then dropped the coat. "Jack, there has got to be over one thousand dollars here."

Jack shook his head in disbelief. "Do you know what this means? We can buy clothes and food now. We don't have to worry about finding jobs right away."

"I know. This is wonderful." Rose replied.
