1913 - 1st class survivor Mr Maximilian Josef Frölicher-Stehli died of heart failure / disease at the age of 62.

1963 - 2nd class survivor Mrs Elizabeth Nye died in Asbury Park, New Jersey, USA at the age of 81.

1889 - 3rd class passenger Miss Ida Sofia Strandberg was born to Sofia Strandberg (crofter).

1950 - 3rd class survivor Mr August Wennerström died in Culver, Indiana, USA at the age of 66.

1998 - Actress Kate Winslet ("Rose DeWitt Bukater" in James Cameron's movie "Titanic") and Jim Threapleton married at the Anglican All Saints' Church in Reading, England, UK, near the Winslet family home. Kate wore a beautiful white gown designed by Alexander McQueen, and the church was decorated with white and yellow roses. The ceremony was planned in absolute secrecy - not even the 170 guests knew the exact location.

Trevor Allison, son of Hudson Joshua Allison and Bess Allison, was born on May 7, 1911. He had one sister, Helen Loraine, whom was two years older than he.

The entire Allison family went to England during 1912. While in England they had Trevor baptized in London and bought two dozen horses in Scotland. They also picked up some furniture and hired some household staff members. The Allison's changed their travel arrangements at the last minute to travel on the Titanic with some friends.

The Allison's boarded the Titanic in Southampton with ticket number 113781. They occupied cabins C-22,24 and 26. Hudson and Bess in one cabin, Helen Loraine and her maid in the second and Trevor and his maid in the third.

When the Titanic struck the iceberg, Alice Cleaver immediately took Trevor Allison up to the boat deck and left with him on Lifeboat 11. The Allison's were not aware that Alice had taken baby Trevor off of the ailing ship and they refused to leave until they knew he was safe. All of the remaining Allison's died on the Titanic.

After he arrived in New York he was taken to Canada and raised by his aunt and uncle, George and Lillian Allison. He died at the age of 18 of ptomaine poisoning and was buried beside his father.
